Miller

More than flour, crafting quality.

A grain miller is responsible for optimizing operations through efficient daily milling activities. These activities include the operation of the milling process, prioritizing and assigning proactive and reactive milling maintenance and trouble shooting milling issues. This role also maintains quality product going to flour bins and monitors wheat input with proper blending for protein specifications. Millers are responsible for procuring needed milling materials, controlling spare parts inventory for rolls, sifters, purifiers, and other milling equipment, and managing hands on training for new and existing millers. Every day, millers help ensure the execution of best practices by performing quality checks.
